A cat’s feet are very sensitive. A cat can sense movement through the pads on its feet. A cat is said to be able to hear through its feet. The whiskers on a cat are also sensitive to changes in the air. A cat can hold its whiskers against its face when eating. It can also move its whiskers forward when hunting.

A cat is said to have nine lives. This saying came about because a cat is known to be good at escaping dangerous situations.
