This kind of cat is a wild cat. It likes to be by itself. It may mark its territory or area with its scent. It does this by rubbing its fur along the grass or peeing on the ground.
The Asiatic golden cat is not very active unless it is hunting for food. It is a carnivore. This means it eats the meat of other animals.
There are about 10,000 Asiatic golden cats in the world. That seems like a big number but it is not. This animal is in danger. It is hunted for its fur. Loss of its habitat is hurting the Asiatic golden cat.
