Archery is a target sport. It can be played indoors or outdoors. A player uses a bow to shoot arrows. Some arrows are made of wood. The arrows have metal tips. The feathers on an arrow can be real. They might come from geese or turkeys. Feathers can also be made of plastic.
A player shoots at a target. The target has many colors. Each color is worth points. The color near the middle is worth more points. Players take turns shooting. Each player shoots six arrows. Six arrows are called an end. The points for each arrow are all added together. The player with the most points wins.
