A cloud forms in the sky. It is a collection of water or ice that we can see with our eyes.
This is how a cloud is made: The sun heats the air. If the air cools down below the dew point (32°F or 0°C), the air then fills with water drops. A cloud is formed!
There are 10 different types of clouds:
1. altocumulus
2. altostratus
3. cirrocumulus
4. cirrostratus
5. cirrus
6. cumulonimbus
7. cumulus
8. nimbostratus
9. stratocumulus
10. stratus
There are other clouds that are part of the ten cloud types.
